Overview

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at College Avalon is designed to prepare international students for success in academic study within Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET), higher education, or professional contexts.
This intensive course focuses on developing the advanced English skills needed for study, research, and formal communication. Through practical and interactive learning, students strengthen their ability to analyse information, think critically, write academically, and participate effectively in English-medium classrooms.
The EAP program consists of three progressive levels — EAP 1, EAP 2, and EAP 3 — allowing learners to enter at the appropriate stage based on their existing English proficiency and academic goals.
